JUDGMENT On 24th January 2020, the applicant through his counsel filed a motion under Order 50 of the High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, C.I. 47 for an Order of committal into prison for contempt of Court of the respondent Samuel Gbagbo for wilfully interfering with, disrupting and interposing himself into the administration of justice to render it nugatory with the potential to prejudice the fair trial of a pending suit. FACTS OF THE CASE The applicant deposed that the respondent commenced an action against him in the High Court, Akim Oda in a suit entitled “SAMUEL GBAGBO VRS JOE DEBRAH for which he is the defendant. The applicant contends that the respondent entered into a contract of bailment with him in respect of a Lucas Mill Machine which agreement was executed on 20th September 2016 as per Exhibit A.
