JUDGMENT On 17th July 2020, the applicant through its counsel filed a motion under Order 50 of the High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, C.I. 47 for an Order for contempt against the respondent who is the 9th defendant in the suit entitled: SUIT NO. C1/08/2012, RUBBER PLANTATIONS (GHANA) LIMITED vrs NANA KWESI ASIEDU & 8 ORS, for cutting down or demolishing several trees of the rubber plantation while the plantation is a subject matter of a suit pending before the court and which said conduct of the respondent amounts to disrespect for the dignity of the court, a wilful and contemptuous act intended to prejudice the outcome of the suit pending before the court.
