The National Labour Commission at its sitting of 23rd June, 2021 heard the complaint of "Unfair Termination" lodged by NUTEG (for Alex Amegatse, Moses Nartey & Charles Dogbe) Complainant against DE-MASTERS ACADEMY, Respondent. The Complainants submitted that: They are Alex Amegatse, Moses Tetteh Nartey and Charles Cecil Dogbe and were employed as teachers on 22nd September 2015, 1st October 2012 and 1st October, 2012 respectively. Respondent wrongfully tenninated their employment and several attempts by National Union of Teachers and General Workers (NUTEG) to settle the matter has proven futile. The actions of the employer violated Section 15 (a-e) of the Labour Act, 2003 Act 651 and they therefore seek the intervention of the Commission.
