The Respondent is a limited liability company registered under the laws of the Republic engaged in the transportation business. Complainant joined the Respondent Company in 5TH February, 2014 as an Electrician of the Company. His appointment letter stated that his employment contract was for a fixed period of 2 years subject to renewal. On 17th May, 2016, Respondent issued Complainant with a query. The crux of which was for him to explain for some starters which had gone missing from the workshop. Complainant per his letter dated 19th May, 2016, responded to the query by stating in the main that he knew nothing about the missing starters. Respondent per letter dated 24th May, 2016 terminated Complainant's appointment with the reason stated therein being Complainant's inability to account for the missing starters.
