The parties appeared before the Commission on Wednesday, 8th September, 2021, at which above-named dispute were heard. The matter was over unfair termination claim by the Complainant. Complainant's Case The Complainant submitted that the Respondent did not follow the procedure contained in their work manual which stated that when a disciplinary action is to be taken, the affected worker is to be given 48 hours in writing to appear before the disciplinary committee and the reason for inviting the worker ought to be stated which did not happen in this case. Apart from that, the Respondent failed to give reasons for its action which in her view is unfair. She is therefore seeking payment in lieu of notice, Provident Fund and compensation for unfair termination.
