The National Labour Commission at its sitting of 17th March, 2021 heard the complaint of "unpaid allowances" lodged by Gideon Edzeame & 5 others, Complainants against State Protocol Office, Respondent. Complainants' case: The Complainants submitted as follows: 1. That they were employed as Security Guards by the Respondent organization. 2. That in September 2016, allowances were paid to other staff of the office but the Security Department was exempted. 3. That they went to the Director of Finance & Admin to ask why they were exempted from payment but she told them to bring evidence that shows that they are entitled to any allowance. 4. They were directed to go to the Ministry of Finance where they were given a letter to give to the Director of F & A but she still refused to implement. 5.
