The disputing Parties appeared before the National Labour Commission on 7th April, 2021 for a hearing of the above-named dispute, which was over the dismissal of the Complainant from the Respondent Bank. Each side was led by Counsel. The Commission, upon hearing the Parties' submissions and the evidence adduced decided as follows: (1) That the Complainant is not entitled to one month's salary in lieu of notice. (2) That the Parties should reconcile the annual leave and if there are days not taken, the days must be commuted to cash and paid to the Complainant. (3) That the 50% of the Complainant salary which was withheld during the suspension must be paid to the Complainant. (4) That the Respondent should pay all the provident fund. (5) That the Respondent should change the ownership of the vehicle to the name of the Complainant. (6) That all other statutory entitlements must be paid to the Complainant.
