CLOSURE REPORT INTRODUCTION On 16th April, 2014, Bella Musah & Alima Alhaji, the Complainants, lodged a complaint against Lt. Col. Edmond Asirifi & wife, the Respondents for child ·custody. The Complainants therefore, seeks the assistance of this Commission to impress upon the Respondents to return their child. COMPLAINANT'S POSITION According to the Complainants, about four years ago, Ayishety their child was picked by her auntie, Safiatu Alhaji and absconded with her. They searched for Safiatu and their six years daughter but did not find them. About a year ago, the Complainants came to Ghana to follow up on the search of their daughter upon finding out that their daughter is in Ghana and was living with the Respondents. When the Complainants met with the Respondents on the return of their daughter, they refused to give their daughter to them because they have spent a lot of money on the child.
