The suit which has led to this appeal was filed by the Plaintiff/Respondent (hereinafter called the Respondent) on 17th February 2017 against the Defendant/Appellant (hereinafter called the Appellant). The Respondent claimed one relief against the Appellant in the writ of summons. She claimed as follows: “Plaintiff claim against the defendant for recovery of title and possession of a piece and parcel of land situate at a place commonly known and called Ananawememu on Asafohene Stool land bounded by the properties of Maame Amoah Afranie, Maame Ama Antwiwaa, Maame Afia Naa, Maame Ama Donkor, Maame Akosua Badu (deceased), Akosua Badu, and to the stream called Ananawewemu which said farmland the defendant has jumped unto it and claiming from the plaintiff without justifiable cause, hence this action”.
