JUDGMENT The present action by the Applicant is an originating notice of motion under Order 55 of the High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2004 C I 47 in which the Applicant prayed this Court for an order of certiorari to quash a ruling of the Circuit Court 3, Accra dated 3rd March, 2022. The gravamen of the application is that the Circuit Court Judge allowed an oral application by Counsel for the Interested Party to recall a witness in violation of Orders 19 and 20 of CI 47. This, according to learned Counsel for the Applicant constituted want of jurisdiction and the grounds are contained in the affidavit in support of the application. The depositions in support of the application would be given in due course but for now a look at the law which gives the High Court its supervisory jurisdiction over lower Courts and lower adjudicating authorities.
