JUDGMENT Plaintiff’s case The original writ in this suit was issued on 19th August 2019 and amended on 12th May 2020. The statement of claim accompanying the writ of summons was further amended on 23rd October 2020. The plaintiff instituted the action through his lawful attorney as the plaintiff is ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom. It is the plaintiff’s case that he acquired the land in dispute sometime in the year 2003, took possession of the land by erecting pillars on the boundaries to demarcate the land, dumped a trip each of sand and stones on the land, constructed a wall around the land and constructed a single room structure on a portion of the land which structure he put a caretaker in to take care of the land for him. The plaintiff asserts that in the year 2003, a rival claim was made to the land by the Addy family which family sold the land to a third party but the plaintiff’s grantors commenced an action against the Addy family and their grantees.
