On Wednesday, 16TH November 2022 the parties were invited to appear before the National Labour Commission in the above-mentioned dispute. The Complainant appeared, but Respondent was absent and the records show that the Respondent has been unco-operative since the dispute was brought against it. Complainant's Case The complainant submitted that he was a former employee of respondent company whose appointment was .suddenly terminated when he refused to resign at the instance of the Respondent. Respondent Case Respondent failed and/or refused to submit its response to the complaint and also did not attend any of the hearings in the matter though it was invited. Findings The Commission upon hearing the Complainant's submissions and examining the evidence he presented finds that the complainant's appointment was not terminated but instead he was compulsorily retired upon attainment of age 60.
