On Wednesday, 23rd November, 2022, the parties appeared before the National Labour Commission in the above-mentioned dispute. The Respondent was represented by the Chief Executive Officer. Complainant's case The case of the Complainant is that he was asked to stay home for failing to participate in morning devotion of the Respondent, company. According to him he opted to sit outside the 'window of the devotion room and not inside because of his asthmatic condition, which affects him any time he comes into contact with people who had sprayed perfume on themselves. The Respondent took offence and sent him home on pay for one year. He was later asked to report to work, but soon thereafter, the Administrative Manager of the Respondent's company terminated his appointment. Reliefs The Complainant seeks the following reliefs; 1.
