BRIEF FACTS The Respondent is a hospital registered under the laws of the Republic and is engaged in the business of providing orthopaedic treatment. Respondent Company employed Complainant Justice Atta Cardigah as a staff nurse on 17th November 2011. Subsequently, on 9th June 2014, Complainant was appointed to the new position of Out-Patient Department (OPD) Manager, a position he held until 18 July 2016, when he was summarily dismissed without any entitlements by Respondent. The ground for Complainant's termination was that after investigations by Respondent's Medical Executive Committee, it had been determined that Complainant had received funds meant for Respondent into his personal account was a breach of the approved policy and procedure.
