JUDGMENT MENSAH-DATSA, JA. This is an appeal by the Defendant/Appellant (hereinafter referred to as Appellant) against the judgment of the Circuit Court, Wa, Upper West Region dated 16th November, 2021 in favour of the Plaintiff/Respondent (hereinafter referred to as Respondent). The grounds of appeal are as follows: a) The judgment is against the weight of evidence adduced at the trial. b) The Court erred in law when it awarded general damages of Eight Thousand Cedis (GH¢8,000.00) and proceeded to award aggravated damages also of Two Thousand and Five hundred Cedis (GH¢2,500.00). c) The cost of Eight Thousand Cedis (GH¢8,000.00) (sic) against the Defendant/Appellant is excessive.
