FATI MOHAMMED vs. HAWA MUSAH, ISSAKA MUSAH
JUDGMENT The plaintiff claims she had been adopted by Teni Hausa. Again, it is her contention that, the house number E534/16 Maamobi belonged to her mother, Teni Hausa, who adopted her. The plaintiff further asked the Court to direct the defendants to account for rents received from tenants in the said property. The defendants disagreed and also mounted a counterclaim to that of the plaintiff. The counterclaim is as follows: (i) Declaration of title to H/No. E534/19 situate at Maamobi, Accra. (ii) Perpetual Injunction to restrain the plaintiff by herself, her agents, workmen and persons acting for her from interfering with the defendants’ quiet enjoyment of their premises. The parties in this suit are Moslems. The deceased Teni Hausa and Musah Zabrama were also Moslems and married under the Mohammedan Law.
