The Agbawe clan of La has six families under it; the Owusu We, Kpoti We, Kplen We, Asua We, Awua We and Otopa We. Each family has its land distinct from the other. The 1st Plaintiff's granter (2nd Plaintiff) is from the Owusu We whiles the 1st Defendant's granter (2nd Defendant) is from the Kplen We. The battle is therefore between two siblings to determine which sibling has a legitimate claim to the disputed land. The two siblings of the Agbawe clan ie the Owusu We and the Kplen We stand by their respective grantors. The Plaintiffs case is that the 2ND Plaintiff is the lawful representative of the Agbawe Owusu We family of Oyarifa.
