JUDGMENT 1] Plaintiff is an employee at the Head office of Bank of Ghana, while defendant is a businessman, as well as, a car dealer. 2] PLAINTIFF’S CASE Plaintiff’s case is that he and defendant are friends. Sometime in 2017, defendant invited him to a meeting he had convened with staff of Bank of Ghana who intended to purchase vehicles from him. Pursuant to the meeting, some staff of Bank of Ghana agreed to purchase vehicles from the defendant. 3] According to plaintiff, defendant sought financial assistance from him to the tune of Sixty Five Thousand Ghana cedis (GHC65,000) to enable him clear the vehicles from the port for the Bank of Ghana staff, which he gave to him.
