JUDGMENT Plaintiff’s case The plaintiff describes herself as a food vendor who resides in Baatsona, Accra. Ghana. It is the plaintiff’s case that she is the owner in possession of the land in dispute which was given to her as a gift by her grandfather Afemeku Baflo (deceased) about forty five years ago (as at the time she issued her writ). The plaintiff asserts that her grandfather was also the owner of four plots of land including the land in dispute which parcels of land he got from the Laryea Santeo family of Nungua around the year 1958. It is the plaintiff’s case that she, together with her relatives, have constructed their dwelling houses on a portion of the land and they have been on the land for over forty-five years without any interference from any third party.
