RULING Introduction The Respondent in this application (Applicant in the Contempt Application) filed motion on notice on 12th July, 2023 praying the Honourable Court to commit the Applicant herein (1st Respondent in the Contempt Application) and the 2nd Respondent in the substantive contempt application for Contempt of Court in respect of perpetuating acts undermining the Orders of the Court on the Disputed Land. Counsel for the applicant herein upon service of the contempt application, filed this motion on notice on 28/7/2023 to raise preliminary legal objection on the jurisdiction of this Court in hearing the Contempt Application.
