RULING THE CHARGES AND HISTORY OF THE CASE On the 15th March, 2021 a charge sheet was filed at the Registry of this Court against the two (2) Respondents herein. The charges were: One (1) count of Conspiracy to commit crime, namely FRAUD BY AGENT against both Respondents contrary to Sections 23 (1) and 145 (1) (a) of Act 29. Two counts against the 1st Respondent alone, for the charges of FRAUD BY AGENT AND CORRUPTION BY PUBLIC OFFICER contrary to Section 239 (1) of Act 29. Disclosures were filed by the Prosecution on the 6th July, 2021, the 16th February, 2022 and the 23rd March, 2023. The said disclosed documents and statements included the Witness Statement of the witness, the subject matter of this application, Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Case Management Conference was also completed on the 8th March, 2022. Subsequently, the Prosecution sought to call their first witness aforementioned to testify.
