RULING THE JURISDICTION OF THE COURT This is a ruling on an application for Judicial Review in the nature of Certiorari brought for and on behalf of the Applicant, Victor Owusu Apraku. I have read the application and its supporting affidavit and Statement of Case, filed on the 20th January 2021. I have also considered the affidavit in opposition filed on the 6th February 2021 and its Statement of Case. It is important to state that the jurisdiction of this Court was invoked under Article 141 of the 1992 Constitution which clothes the High Court with supervisory jurisdiction over all low Courts and lower adjudicating bodies, by the issuance of orders and directives to enforce its powers. This jurisdiction is further emphasized under Section 16 of the Courts Act, 1993 (Act 459) as amended.
