RULING A. SUMMARY OF FACTS 1. Complainant - Faith Mensah - was employed by the Respondent as a Commercial Assistant on 11 November 2019 and served the Organisation for 1 Year and 5 Months 2. Complainant's appointment was terminated through a letter dated 20 April 2021 without offering any reasons for the termination 3. The Complainant petitioned the Commission on 07 May 2021 for Unfair Termination and Sought for the following Reliefs: a. Payment of all outstanding Benefits b. Compensation for Unfair Termination c. Given the opportunity to resign 4. The Respondent in its submission indicated that the Complainant's appointment was terminated at a difficult period during the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic, which resulted in the reduction of Trade Missions and a drop-in occupancy rate.
