RULING Brief facts of the case This case was commenced by two complainants, Francis Danso and Kingsley Brako who filed a petition against the then Ga West Municipal Assembly Respondent, for removing their names from the payroll of the Respondent Assernbly at the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) in Accra. EOCO after careful study of the petition, formed the opinion that the issues raised in the petition were labour related and might fall within the mandate of the National Labour Commission so it referred it together with the accompanying documents to this Commission per letter dated 17th March, 2020 for consideration and determination of the dispute. In a letter dated 23rd March, 2020, the Commission sent a copy of the petition to Ga West Municipal Assembly requesting it to send its written response to the petition and any relevant documents within fourteen (14) working days of the receipt of the letter.
