DECISION On 30th November, 2023, the disputing parties appeared before the National Labour Commission and were heard in the above-mentioned dispute. The Respondent was represented by the Human Resource Manager and led by Counsel. The Commission referred to the response by the Respondent that the Complainant was never an employee of the Respondent Company. The Commission asked the Complainant to provide evidence of its employment relationship with the Respondent Company but he could not provide any such evidence. In furtherance of its argument, the Respondent said it bought the Company in 2019 and paid off all the workers and the Complainant was never a part because he was not an employee.
