HENRY AKUOKO SARPONG vs. HFC-BOAFO MICROFINANCE SERVICE LIMITED

RULING On 5th October, 2016, Henry Akuoko Sarpong, the Complainant filed a complaint of "Bad Reference" against HFC-Boafo Microfinance Service Limited, the Respondent. The Respondent was represented by a Paralegal and led by Counsel. The parties appeared before the National Labour Commission on 4th July, 2023 for a hearing of the dispute. Complainant's case The Complainant submitted as follows that: 1. They disbursed a loan of GHC40,000 to Madam Theresa Addo, which was the customer's second loan with HFC-Boafo Asankragwa branch of which he was the Branch Supervisor. 2. The customer, Madam Theresa Addo made them aware that her brother, Mr. Hayes, who guaranteed the loan will be using the money to clear his goods from the port. 3.
