JUDGMENT OPINION BAIDEN, C.E.E., J.A. The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked by a Notice of Appeal filed on 7th July, 2023 by the Plaintiff/Appellant (hereinafter referred to as “the Appellant”) against the judgment of the High Court, Kumasi dated 29th June, 2023. By Writ of Summons against the Defendants/Respondents (hereinafter called the “Respondents”) filed on 24th April, 2020 the Appellant claimed the following reliefs: a. Recovery of GHC 99,000.00 being rent and cost incurred in the renovation and refurbishment of a 3-bedroom apartment in H/No. Plot 9 Block P, New Amakom, Kumasi; b. Interest on the said GHC 99,000.00 from September, 2019 till date of final payment; c. Costs including Solicitor’s fees; and d. Any order(s) the Honourable Court may deem fit.
