JUDGMENT OWUSU-OFORI, J. A. INTRODUCTION This is an appeal against the Ruling of the High Court, Kumasi delivered on the 12th June, 2023 discharging Respondent/Respondent for Contempt of Court. In this appeal, the Applicant/Appellant will be referred to as Appellant and the Respondent/Respondent simply as Respondent. BACKGROUND FACTS The National House of Chiefs received a report from the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs to the effect that one NENE TETTEH WAKA III had been enstooled as the Paramount Chief of the Prampram Traditional Area, and requested the name to be inserted into the National Register of Chiefs. In December, 2021 the members of the National House of Chiefs met, and at their plenary session gave approval for the entry of names of some Chiefs into the National Register of Chiefs.
