JUDGMENT OWUSU-OFORI, J.A. INTRODUCTION We have before us, an appeal against the judgment of the High Court, Sunyani, Commercial Division “B” delivered on the 8th May, 2023 discharging the Respondent herein for Contempt of Court. In this appeal, the Applicant/Appellant and the Respondent/Respondent will hereafter be referred to as Appellant and Respondent respectively. BACKGROUND FACTS The Respondent herein Superintendent Kingsley Wiredu, the Divisional Crime Officer, Sunyani, was the investigator in charge of a criminal matter entitled THE REPUBLIC vs. BASHIRU KRAMO & 4 ORS. The Complainant in the said case was one Ernestina Ntow a sister of the Appellant. She reported a case of unlawful damage caused to her property against the accused persons in the matter. The Respondent after investigations forwarded the docket to the office of the Attorney General Sunyani for advice.
