RULING This ruling is in respect of a preliminary legal objection raised by learned counsel for Applicant in this contempt application. The basis of the objection was that, counsel for respondents to the contempt application, on filing the notice of appointment of solicitor did not disclose the date of his current practicing licence on the process filed and in counsel’s view this is in violation of Order 75 Rule 3 (1) (a) of the High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2004 (CI 47). Counsel submitted that the process filed was irregular and this has also rendered the application to strike out the contempt application filed by counsel for respondent irregular. Counsel has therefore invited the court to strike out the said application which is pending before this court. Per contra, counsel for the respondents to the contempt application is opposed to the preliminary legal objection.
