JUDGMENT This judgment is a fallout of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a Soil Acquisition Agreement executed by the parties herein. Plaintiff is claiming that Defendant has breached the terms of the contract due to its failure or refusal to pay an outstanding amount due him in spite of persistent demands. Consequently, plaintiff by a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim dated the 18th of January 2021 has instituted the instant action. Plaintiff is seeking the following reliefs against the defendant: a) Three million, six hundred and seventy-five thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵3,675,000.00) being the outstanding balance of the contract sum to be paid. b) Payment of interest on the said amount at the current bank rate being interest on the same amount from 28th April, 2016 to date of final payment. c) Damages for breach of contract. d) Cost. e) Any other relief(s) which this Honourable Court deems fit or considers just.
