JUDGMENT It is respectfully provided by the Representation of the People Law, 1992 {1992 (P.N.D.C.L. 284), particularly, sections 16 and 20 cited to the Court by the learned counsel for the Respondents as follows: "Section 16---Methods of Questioning Election. (1) The validity of an election to Parliament may be questioned only by a petition brought under sections 17 to 26. (2) Every election petition shall be presented before the High Court for hearing. Section 18--Time for Presentation of Petition. (1) An election petition shall be presented within twenty-one days after the date of the publication in the Gazette of the result of the election to which it relates. but a petition questioning an election on an a/legation of corrupt practice and specifically alleging a payment of money or other award to have been made by the person whose election is questioned or to have been made on behalf of and to that person's knowledge, may be presented within twenty-one days after the ...
