RULING MAJORITY OPINION PWAMANG, JSC: My Lords, before us is an application for review filed on 30th May, 2024 by the defendant/respondent/appellant/applicant (the applicant) pursuant to Rule 54(a) of the Supreme Court Rules, 1996 (C.I.16). The applicant is praying for a review of the unanimous decision of the Supreme Court delivered on 5th July, 2023. As this application is made almost one year after the decision, the applicant applied and was granted leave by a single Judge of the Court. In the decision the application is seeking to have reviewed, the Supreme Court dismissed an application by the applicant praying for leave to adduce new evidence in relation to its substantive appeal in which all parties filed their statements of case since 9th February, 2022 and which appeal was heard at a point and adjourned for judgment.
