RULING This ruling is in respect of an application filed on behalf of Ernest Yaw Kumi, who is praying this court for an ORDER TO SET ASIDE THE ORDER FOR INTERIM INJUNCTION GRANTED BY THIS COURT ON THE 2ND OF JANUARY 2025, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 99(1) OF THE 1992 CONSTITUTION, SECTIONS 16 AND 18 OF REPRESENTATION OF THE PEOPLE LAW 1992 (PNDCL 284), PUBLIC ELECTION REGULATIONS 2020, C.I. 127. On the 7th of December 2024, the Electoral Commission, the 2nd Respondent herein, conducted a parliamentary election in the Akwatia Constituency. The applicant herein, Ernest Yaw Kumi stood as the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the Akwatia Constituency while the 1st Respondent herein, Honorable Henry Boakye-Yiadom, stood on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
