MAREK KALJULA & TERASTEENUS OY vs. MUBARAK YUSSIF & 2 ORS.

The Plaintiffs, Marek Kaljula and Terasteenus Oy, Estonia nationals and company respectively, entered into agreements with the Defendants, including Mubarak Yussif and two companies, for the importation and supply of baby food and shoes. Plaintiffs alleged that they supplied goods worth significant sums between 2016 and 2018 but received only partial payment. They also alleged loans and payments made for business purposes and website development which were not repaid. Plaintiffs accused the 1st Defendant of fraudulent conduct including misappropriation of funds and false invoicing. Defendants denied allegations, asserting that the 1st Plaintiff controlled the companies' operations and had sold company assets to offset debts.
