RULING [1] This ruling is in respect of a Motion on Notice to dismiss the suit against the 1st Defendant filed by the Defendants/Applicants (hereinafter called “the Applicants) against the Plaintiff/Respondent (hereinafter called “the Respondent”) on 12th May 2025. [2] The application is supported by a 6-paragraph Affidavit. The relevant paragraphs read as follows: 2. That Ngleshie Alata being a traditional council does not own any lands in Ghana nor alienate any lands. 3. That Ngleshie Alata traditional council was included in the suit deliberately to mislead the honourable court. 4. That the duties of a traditional council do not include alienating lands on its own. 5. That Ngleshie Alata is not a necessary party to the determination of land dispute.” [3] Subsequently, the Applicants filed a 7-paragraph Supplementary Affidavit dated June 25, 2025.
