RULING Introduction The Complainant filed a case of wrongful dismissal against his employer, First National Bank on 14th September, 2023. The matter went through facilitation and attempt to settle failed and so both parties opted for summary settlement before the Commission. After a preliminary hearing of the case, parties were directed by the Commission to file their final written submissions which they complied with and case referred for judgment conference, hence this ruling. Complainant's case The Complainant submitted that: 1. In 2018, while he was in employment he took a Vehicle loan from the Respondent which he was to keep under Comprehensive insurance at all times. 2. He failed to meet the conditions attached to the said loan for which reason he was summoned to a disciplinary hearing and was subsequently dismissed. 3.
