RULING MAJORITY OPINION DARKO ASARE JSC: INTRODUCTION My Lords, this is an application seeking to invoke the supervisory jurisdiction of this court by way of judicial review for an order of certiorari directed at the High Court, General Jurisdiction 8, to bring up into this Court for purposes of being quashed and quashing the ruling of the court dated the 2nd day of May 2024; a declaration that the High Court has no jurisdiction to entertain any application for an interlocutory injunction to restrain execution of a judgment of the Supreme Court; and an order of prohibition prohibiting the High Court (General Jurisdiction 8] from entertaining any proceedings and/or application(s) to restrain the execution proceedings commenced in the suit intituled Daniel Ofori v Ecobank Ghana Limited (Suit No. CM/MISC/0829/2021) as ordered by the Supreme Court.
