</div>Considering the petition filed by Doris Broni
(hereinafter called the petitioner) against Institute of Computer Technology
(hereinafter called the Respondent) 25th November, 2009 and the Respondent's submissions of 26th January, 2010; <o:p></o:p>Considering Sections 138
and 139 of the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651) on the functions and powers
of the National Labour Commission; <o:p></o:p>Having examined the
written submissions of the Petitioner and the Respondent and allowed the two
parties to meet with the Commission on this matter in facilitation processes/hearings; <o:p></o:p>The facts of the case

yes">A. She was employed as a computer instructor with the
Respondent Company on 14th September, 2001 and that she was transferred to

yes">B. In 2008, a colleague was dismissed and she
was asked to take over all the classes and that she was promised to be paid the

yes">D. She was invited to the head office only to
be given a dismissal letter which she refused to receive but was posted to her

yes">E. She was eight months pregnant before she was
dismissed without notice and payment of April, 2009 salary. &nbsp;
