The disputed property is subject of a fifty year lease commencing 1<sup>st</sup> June, 1995 and due to expire on 31<sup>st</sup> May, 2045, executed between the Government of Ghana and the 1<sup>st</sup> defendant. It is dated 31<sup>st</sup> January, 1996. He asserted that he paid the purchase price in full through the co-defendant and, was issued a receipt by 1<sup>st</sup> defendant in acknowledgment of the purchase price so paid.
