</div>FACTS <o:p></o:p>On 4th October, 2010 Salamatu Adam lodged a complaint with the
Commission against his employers Procredit for unfair termination. <o:p></o:p>Her case was that the allegation that he aided Douglas
Asafo Adjei in defrauding the company was unsubstantiated and false, that it
was never correct that she appended her signature on the clients contract
without seeing the person who signed it. <o:p></o:p>The relief she is seeking is that Procredit should be ordered to
retract the false allegation and pay compensation. <o:p></o:p>The case of the company
was that termination of the appointment of the complainant was as a result of a
breach of laid down procedures and that the said termination was lawful. <o:p></o:p>FINDINGS <o:p></o:p>Management of Pro-credit
did carry out investigation into fraudulent activities at its Sunyani branch in
2010. <o:p></o:p>The investigation was carried out as a routine activity. <o:p></o:p>The investigation
indicated that Salamatu Adam did signed sixteen (16) transactions as a client advisor and also as the senior
client Advisor/Supervisor. Additionally, she signed as a legal Representative
of Torpsal Ent. for three transfers and also checked as the supervisor, thus
side-stepping the four eye principle. <o:p></o:p>At the hearing the
witness for the Respondent Mr. Manu admitted that Salamatu Adam signed
only one client document in the absence of the client. Mr. Manu in his evidence
said that during the investigation the team talked to Salamatu Adam. However,
Salamatu Adam denied this assertion. <o:p></o:p>
