He said he got injured whiles working and after his treatment, he was transferred to the stores unit as a storekeeper in charge of the store and scraps.<o:p></o:p><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p>The Petitioners also submitted that he was responsible for the sale of scrans to dealers on behalf of the company. He stated that the security at post arrested one of the dealers, Alhaji Habibu Hamidu for taking some of the scraps from him. The Petitioner said after confirming that he gave the scraps to Alhaji Hamidu, the security man was not convinced and took him to Tarkwa Police Station.<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>The Petitioner again submitted that the Police report which informed the Respondent's decision did not recommend the termination of his appointment.<o:p></o:p><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p>The Petitioner stated through his Counsel with a letter dated 13th &nbsp;April, 2011 that the disciplinary committee was not properly constituted and hence, biased to him.<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>The Petitioner in consequence, wants the Commission to order the Respondent to do the following: declare the termination as null and void; pay accrued salaries from date of termination to the date of ruling with interest; commute accumulated leave to cash and make the appropriate payment, pay one month salary in lieu of notice; andpayment of one hundred thousand (100,000) Ghana Cedis as compensation for unfair termination.<o:p></o:p><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p>In its reaction, the Respondent submitted that the Petitioner violated its Company's regulations by stealing an unspecified quantity of scraps from its premises and sold it to another person.<o:p></o:p>
