font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">Facts<o:p></o:p></span></u></i></p><p class="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">The accused person Sima Ibrahim, a Model and Chief Executive Officer of Exopa Modeling Agency, is a Ghanaian national resident in Ghana. On 7<sup>th</sup> September, 2009 the accused person arrived at the Kotoka International Airport to board a Lufthansa flight to Germany. While going through pre-departure formalities for the flight, the operatives of Narcotics Control Board suspected him to be carrying narcotic drug and ordered his travelling bag to be searched while he was trying to check it in at the departure hall. A search conducted on the bag revealed four tubers of yams which had been cut and rejoined. This aroused the curiosity of the officials who, upon opening up the yams found them hollow and filled with white substances suspected to be cocaine weighing 4943.6774 grams. The accused person was therefore arrested, and on interrogation, admitted the ownership of the sub
