The Plaintiffs say they have been in undisturbed possession of the lands, farming thereon and have even constructed a dam to assist in that regard. The Plaintiffs say the said lease agreements have been registered as No. 2139/1982 in respect of the 1<sup>st </sup>plaintiff’s land and 1982/1982 for the 2<sup>nd </sup>Plaintiff’s land. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:36.0pt;text-align:justify;mso-pagination: none;border:none;mso-padding-alt:31.0pt 31.0pt 31.0pt 31.0pt;mso-border-shadow: yes"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: "Book Antiqua", serif;">It is the Plaintiffs’ case that sometime in 2015, they found to their surprise that that the Defendant had reversed the registration of both lands into the name of the original owners, the Nii Afutu Brempong Family of Teshie, upon a document purported to have been executed by their Managing Director, Akwasi Asamoah Amoakohene, which has been forensically examined and found to be forged by the Ghana Police Forensic Unit. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:36.0pt;margin-right:-.2pt;margin-bottom: 0cm;margin-left:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;mso-pagination: none;border:none;mso-padding-alt:31.0pt 31.0pt 31.0pt 31.0pt;mso-border-shadow: yes"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: "Book Antiqua", serif;">The Plaintiffs say that upon contacting the Nii Afutu Brempong Family, they vehemently denied that they were responsible for the forged document and also having resold portions of the land. They say that they have requested the Defendant in the circumstances to reverse the said re- registration into the names of the Plaintiffs, but they will not do so unless compelled to do so by order of the Court. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:11.5pt;text-align:justify;mso-pagination: none;border:none;mso-padding-alt:31.0pt 31.0pt 31.0pt 31.0pt;mso-border-shadow: yes"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: "Book Antiqua", serif;">The Defendant was served with the writ of summons and statement of claim and hearing notices in this matter. They failed to enter appearance or to file a defence in spite of having notice of the pendency of this matter. In the instant suit, the Court, after entering interlocutory judgment directed the Plaintiffs to prove title as the matter at hand, irrespective of being about registration was somewhat related to title to land.
