She purchased it for the sum of Twenty-Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢23,000) on 29<sup>th</sup> December 2010. Thereafter she was issued with a Certificate of purchase by the Circuit Court, Tepa. However, the 1<sup>st</sup> Defendant/Appellant who was living in the house refused to move out of the house. His defence was that the house is the property of his brother Dr. K. E. Appiah. He went on to deny the whole case of the Respondent.
