The facts of this case are that by a deed of lease dated 20<sup>th</sup> November 2009 made between the East Dadekotopon Development Trust (hereafter referred to as EDDT) (lessors therein) and the Plaintiff<span style="letter-spacing: -.45pt"> </span>(lessee<span style="letter-spacing:-.6pt"> </span>therein),<span style="letter-spacing:-.6pt"> </span>the<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>Plaintiff<span style="letter-spacing:-.45pt"> </span>acquired<span style="letter-spacing:-.75pt"> </span>a<span style="letter-spacing:-.6pt"> </span>parcel<span style="letter-spacing:-.6pt"> </span>of<span style="letter-spacing:-.5pt"> </span>land<span style="letter-spacing:-.6pt"> </span>of<span style="letter-spacing:-.6pt"> </span>approximately<span style="letter-spacing:-.7pt"> </span><b>11.822<span style="letter-spacing:-.6pt"> </span></b>acres in size. He subsequently registered his interest in the land and obtained a land certificate number GA 44239 which was issued on 30<sup>th</sup> May 2014.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoBodyText" style="line-height:115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif"> </span></p><p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-top:0cm;margin-right:7.25pt;margin-bottom: 0cm;margin-left:1.0pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;line-height: 115%"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif">According to the Plaintiff, his grantors, EDDT, sued the Defendants herein in a suit entitled <i>East Dadekotopon Development Trust v The Attorney General and 3 others (Suit NO. IRL/391/10). </i>He stated that in the said suit, judgment was entered in favour of his grantors against the Defendants herein. Pursuant to the said judgment, the then Deputy Attorney General, Honourable Dominic Ayine, convened a meeting in an attempt to reach a compromise<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>with<span style="letter-spacing:-.45pt"> </span>his<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>grantors;<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>however,<span style="letter-spacing:-.5pt"> </span>the<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>parties<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>failed<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>to<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>arrive<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>at<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>an<span style="letter-spacing:-.55pt"> </span>amicable<span style="letter-spacing:-.4pt"> </span>agreement. As a result, Honourable Dominic Ayine wrote to the Directorate of Legal Services, Ghana Armed Forces, and advised them to refrain from interfering with his grantors’ quiet enjoyment<span style="letter-spacing: -.85pt"> </span>of<span style="letter-spacing:-.75pt"> </span>their<span style="letter-spacing:-.8pt"> </span>land.<span style="letter-spacing:-.85pt"> </span>The<span style="letter-spacing:-.7pt"> </span>Plaintiff<span style="letter-spacing:-.7pt"> </span>claims<span style="letter-spacing:-.85pt"> </span>that<span style="letter-spacing:-.8pt"> </span>in<span style="letter-spacing:-.8pt"> </span>spite<span style="letter-spacing:-.8pt"> </span>of<span style="letter-spacing:-.7pt"> </span>this<span style="letter-spacing:-.85pt"> </span>development,<span style="letter-spacing: -.8pt"> </span>the<span style="letter-spacing:-.7pt"> </span>Defendants, specifically<span style="letter-spacing:1.0pt"> </span>the<span style="letter-spacing:1.25pt"> </span>Ghana<span style="letter-spacing:1.35pt"> </span>Armed<span style="letter-spacing:1.3pt"> </span>Forces,<span style="letter-spacing:1.25pt"> </span>have<span style="letter-spacing:1.25pt"> </span>forcefully<span style="letter-spacing:1.0pt"> </span>entered<span style="letter-spacing:1.3pt"> </span>his<span style="letter-spacing:1.25pt"> </span>land<span style="letter-spacing:1.25pt"> </span>and<span style="letter-spacing:1.25pt"> </span>are<span style="letter-spacing:1.35pt"> </span><span style="letter-spacing:-.1pt">exercising</span> control over it.
