In pursuit of this project, the Government encouraged and supported farming. The 1<sup>st</sup> Defendant bought into the project and embarked on farming. As would be expected, it needed land to do the farming. And so in 1972 the James Town Stool granted what is termed <b>‘Right of Entry’</b> of some pieces of land situate and lying at Mile 8, Accra-Winneba Road to 1<sup>st</sup> Defendant. By this ‘Right of Entry’, the 1<sup>st</sup> Defendant was permitted to enter the land for farming purposes. Subsequently, the James Town Stool leased the land to Defendant on or about 14<sup>th</sup> October, 1976.
