mso-fareast-font-family:Calibri;mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">The precursor to the present application is the pending Motion on Notice for Judicial Review filed by King’s City Development Co. Ltd., the Applicant/Respondent herein, against Ghana National Gas Co. Ltd., the Respondent therein, on January 7<sup>th</sup>, 2019, praying this court to exercise its judicial review powers under Order 55 rule 1 of the High Court (Civil Procedure Rules) 2004 (C.I 47) to make orders in the nature of mandamus (the “Review Application”) to compel the Respondent in that Application to pay to the Applicant/Respondent herein the compensation it claims were assessed to be paid to it pursuant to the compulsory acquisition of its parcel of land by the Respondent in that Review Application. The Lands Commission is named as the Interested Party to the Review Application.
