This suit is the genesis of the present contempt proceedings. According to the Applicant she acquired a land in 2009 from an entity called Overtaken Ltd after which acquisition she took possession and appointed a caretaker. The Respondent’s suit against the Applicant and four others was instituted on 1<sup>st</sup> July, 2019 and the area for which the Respondent claimed title to included the Applicant’s land.
