It is the plaintiff’s case that it initially acquired the land in dispute from one Elizabeth Ohene by a Deed of Assignment dated 26<sup>th</sup> May 2006 whereby she assigned her interest in the land in dispute to the plaintiff. The plaintiff asserts that prior to the acquisition of the said property, their grantor Elizabeth Ohene gave them a copy of the lease that was issued in her favour by the 3<sup>rd</sup> defendant dated 4<sup>th</sup> March 1999 which lease had been registered with Registration No. AR195A/2006.
